Estos materiales, producidos de forma natural por diversas cepas de microorganismos, presentan propiedades similares a los pl\u00e1sticos de origen petroqu\u00edmico, pero con una clara ventaja medioambiental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En la actualidad, la investigaci\u00f3n en PHA se enfoca en reducir sus costes de producci\u00f3n mediante el uso de <strong>residuos agroindustriales<\/strong> como sustrato y en la mejora de los procesos de extracci\u00f3n. Estas estrategias buscan hacer m\u00e1s competitiva su incorporaci\u00f3n en un mercado todav\u00eda dominado por pl\u00e1sticos convencionales derivados del petr\u00f3leo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A pesar de su enorme potencial, algunos <strong>biopol\u00edmeros PHA<\/strong> a\u00fan enfrentan limitaciones para su procesamiento mediante tecnolog\u00edas tradicionales. Por ello, uno de los grandes desaf\u00edos actuales es <strong>optimizar sus formulaciones<\/strong> para facilitar su aplicaci\u00f3n en distintas industrias y escalar su producci\u00f3n a nivel industrial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Proyecto COM4PHA: Nuevas formulaciones de PHBV para envases sostenibles<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>En este contexto nace <strong>COM4PHA<\/strong>, un proyecto que impulsa el desarrollo de nuevas formulaciones basadas en <strong>PHBV (polihidroxibutirato-co-valerato)<\/strong>, un copol\u00edmero dentro de la familia PHA, especialmente adecuado para aplicaciones en los sectores del <strong>envase y la agricultura<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este ambicioso proyecto apuesta por tecnolog\u00edas innovadoras de procesado, como:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Extrusi\u00f3n soplado de cuerpo hueco<\/strong> para la fabricaci\u00f3n de botellas biodegradables.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aplicaci\u00f3n de PHBV como <strong>recubrimiento en papel<\/strong> y <strong>films agr\u00edcolas acolchados<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>El objetivo final es ofrecer <strong>envases compostables y recubrimientos biodegradables<\/strong> que cumplan con los est\u00e1ndares del mercado, reduzcan el impacto ambiental y sean competitivos frente a los materiales convencionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Un ecosistema de innovaci\u00f3n colaborativa<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>COM4PHA est\u00e1 coordinado por <strong>VEnvirotech<\/strong>, empresa biotecnol\u00f3gica pionera en el desarrollo de pl\u00e1sticos biodegradables a partir de residuos org\u00e1nicos, mediante el uso de bacterias que transforman estos residuos en <strong>PHBV sostenible<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El proyecto tambi\u00e9n cuenta con la participaci\u00f3n de <strong>ENPLAST<\/strong>, especializada en la fabricaci\u00f3n de envases de pl\u00e1stico, que validar\u00e1 los nuevos materiales. Por su parte, <strong>AIMPLAS<\/strong>, como centro tecnol\u00f3gico del pl\u00e1stico, desarrolla las formulaciones espec\u00edficas tanto para envases como para recubrimientos funcionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Aplicaciones con alto valor a\u00f1adido<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Envases para cosm\u00e9tica<\/strong>: Biodegradables y compostables, con propiedades que mejoran la aceptaci\u00f3n del producto por parte de consumidores cada vez m\u00e1s conscientes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Envases para alimentos y bebidas<\/strong>: Gracias a sus propiedades barrera, los nuevos materiales pueden sustituir a pl\u00e1sticos tradicionales en aplicaciones sensibles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Films agr\u00edcolas acolchados<\/strong>: Formulados con propiedades antimicrobianas, mejoran la calidad de los cultivos y prolongan la vida \u00fatil de los productos agr\u00edcolas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Apoyo institucional y financiaci\u00f3n europea<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>El proyecto COM4PHA cuenta con el respaldo del <strong>Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovaci\u00f3n y Universidades de Espa\u00f1a<\/strong>, y est\u00e1 financiado a trav\u00e9s de los <strong>fondos Next Generation EU<\/strong>, dentro del marco de impulso a la <strong>econom\u00eda circular<\/strong> y la <strong>innovaci\u00f3n sostenible<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>COM4PHA est\u00e1 coordinado por VEnvirotech, empresa biotecnol\u00f3gica pionera en el desarrollo de pl\u00e1sticos biodegradables a partir de residuos org\u00e1nicos, mediante el uso de bacterias que transforman estos residuos en PHBV sostenible.
